MODULES DESCRIPTION

In contrast to the all-in-one applications provided by the distribution and development Video Management Systems (VMS) industry, the modular design of the EmPowerus platform design is an evolutionary step forward in VMS design technology. Rarely will any installation require all of the EmPowerus modules; our clientele only needs to run those necessary modules associated with ensuring the specific aspects of their surveillance missions.

In today's mission-critical scenarios, each EmPowerus module is capable of being run in a virtual machine environment to ensure load-balancing, failover, and High Availability (HA) requirements.  Modules are inclusive of:

  • Data Center — provides a centralized, secure hub for authentication and communications,

  • Client — users interact with the primary Graphical User Interface (GUI),

  • Content Management System (CMS) — ensures complete control and configuration,

  • Matrix — provides a vertical video wall easily automated and manually coordinated,

  • E-map — a centralized module ensures users experience the same digital mapping event,

  • Advanced Unit — provides increasingly critical functions of synching video event times across video devices,

  • Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS) — alleviates extensive IT network configurations ensuring a single surveillance hostname resolution solution,

  • Streaming Proxy — offloads bandwidth requirements for streaming video across the network and transcoding video from all supported devices to a single mobile-friendly format,

  • Alarm Proxy — allows users to connect both serial and IP based alarm devices,

  • Mobile Client — ensures mobile viewing that provides a Live View and Playback of all video assets,

  • Storage Control — the PC Server offers the user a hybrid ability and supports both capture cards and IP devices while the PC Storage Center records only IP devices in a highly efficient digital application.

Storage Controller

 

UNS-Enterprise Storage Controller integrates a higher and more reliable hardware architecture and our powerful software to ultimately providing a rock-solid surveillance and storage platform for IP-based installations. The NVR Systems offer the capability to record up to 128 IP cameras at 30fps per channel and an individual preview of each channel independently. We include our Professional NVR Server software or Enterprise NVR Server software and the full-featured NVR Client software with your purchase.

 

UNS-PNS4XXX Series provides HDD HOT-SWAP and PSU HOT-SAWAP in four platforms configurations (e.g., 1U, 2U, 3U, and 4U).
